1. Effectiveness: means that a task is accomplished, a goal is reached and actions are taken through communication.

Simply, it means that things get done through communication.

2. Appropriateness: means that the speaker's attitude and social behavior are suitable for the situation and there is no compromise on the individual's side or violation of social norms.
